Initial Training Program
From the beginning, we will be by your side to help find the right location for your unit. spa810 and our network of pre-selected, trusted real estate companies assist with site selection and approval, lease negotiation, marketing, area build out, and unit build out using industry professionals and Construction Management Global (CMG).
Once you have signed your lease, you will receive one week of training, Monday through Friday, at the spa810 corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ. This training will cover every aspect of opening and growing your spa810, including the spa810 philosophy and culture, owner-operator responsibilities, administration, instructor training, POS training, sales, operations, products, services, interviewing, marketing, and franchisor relations.
Pre-Opening Training Program
The Pre-Opening Training Program consists of training with all equipment and product vendors and spa810's corporate trainer. This training program is approximately 2 weeks. Vendor training will be a mixture of online and in person training. All in person training will be conducted at the Franchisee's spa810 location. There may be instances where the Pre-Opening Training Program will need to be moved off site due to construction, scheduling needs, and opening timelines. In regions where there is a spa810 already in operations, the operating spa810 unit may be used for off site training. If another spa810 unit is not available, training may be conducted at another site approved by corporate.
Training covered Pre-Opening Training Program: product and treatment review, local store marketing, member conversions, loss prevention, B2B relations, POS, front desk functions, inventory, retail sales, guest communication and conflict resolution, operations, scheduling, uniforms, hygiene, draping, sanitation, and more.
spa810 offers ongoing training to all our Area Representatives and Franchise Owners. Some training course may be optional, while others may be required. Training courses are open to the Spa Directors and Spa Professionals, unless otherwise specified.
Ongoing training is conducted in various forms which may include any or all of the following with or without training documents: video conference calls, webinars, onsite.
spa810 corporate advises each franchise have a quarterly training calendar scheduled with their vendors for all spa team members (new and current team members). Training should focus on areas of concern to improve upon, up coming events, promotions or product launches, retail sales, building treatment plans by bundling complimentary treatments to achieve specific results, closing sales, and more.
