  • Training and Support Details for Franchisees

    Initial Training Program: Held at spa810’s corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ. Training is 5 days in length, Monday through Friday.

    Pre-Opening Training Program: Held at Franchisee’s spa prior to opening for business. The Pre-Opening Training Program consists of a mix of vendor training and corporate training and is on average about a 2 week period prior to opening. The corporate trainer will be onsite at the Franchisee’s spa for 3 full days for training and 1 full day for the Soft Opening (first day spa is open for business).

    Our training programs will include instruction in owner-operator responsibilities, spa professionals responsibilities, administration, instructor training, technology, sales, operations, interviewing, and marketing and franchisor relations.

    We assist with site selection, lease negotiation, marketing, area build out and unit build out.

  • Training and Support Details for Area Representatives

    The Area Representative is trained by the Franchisor in how to perform the various services to be provided to these Franchisees. The Area Representative typically opens a pilot unit, hires a manager to operate it, and uses the pilot unit as a showcase for the operation of the business in the local market.

    Area Representative Revenue Streams

    • 1. Pilot Unit Revenue
    • 2. Royalty Fee 2.5% from all units, pays bi-monthly
    • 3. Building equity in the region
    • 4. Receives 50% of $45,000 Franchise Fee at sale/closing of unit license sale
    • 5. Has the opportunity to promote other spa810 Regions and Units, referral fees will be paid

    Positives of Operating an Area Representative Investment

    • – Operates with a limited number of customers.
    • – Operates with a family member or small number of employees.
    • – Operates with minimal or no rent expense.
    • – Operates with little or no inventory expense.
    • – Area Representative’s can personally open additional locations in their regions – to keep or sell later as an existing business, at a substantially higher price, or joint venture.
    • – Under the FDD, “The Referral Services Commission” fees paid to Franchisor less any outside or third-party broker commissions or fees that have been previously approved by Franchisor in its sole discretion.
    • – Area Representative’s receive an ongoing “lifetime” royalty income stream, 2.5%, bi-monthly, – for the life of the Area Representative contract, for each of the franchised businesses location within their territory.
    • – Area Representative’s may choose to hire a general manager and step out of day-to-day involvement in the business, after the initial start-up phase.
    • – Area Representative is an established business development and operations vehicle. Some of the largest and most successful franchise systems have grown using regional development.

    An Area Representative (or AR) is an entrepreneur who purchases the exclusive rights to a large regional territory. The Area Representative recruits new Franchisees and helps them open their locations in this exclusive territory, following an agreed upon schedule.
